World Regattas and Lynn Fitzpatrick invite regatta organizers, municipalities, resort, marina, venue developers and evolving sailing personalities to consider us as your media partner. We can help you to transcend traditional sailing publications, media and formats to improve the awareness of your event and make your sailing project more enticing and fulfilling to sponsors and participants.

As a freelance journalist, Lynn Fitzpatrick welcomes invitations by regatta organizers to be a media partner and provide regatta coverage. She has been the primary written journalist for the 2007-10 Star Worlds, the 2007 Good Luck Beijing International Regatta, the 2008 Olympics, the 2008 and 2009 Bacardi Cup, the 2008 A-Cat World Championships, the 2008 Newport Bermuda Race and the Monsoon Cup to name a few. The International Rolex Regatta, the Delta Lloyd Regatta, Star Eastern Hemispheres, Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge, Transpac 2009, Star World Championship and Star North Americans were among the championship regattas on the World Regattas calendar in 2009. In addition to covering sailing for sailing, yachting publications and media, Lynn frequently writes destination pieces.

Lynn's articles appear regularly in ShowBoats, Boat International, Seahorse International Sailing Magazine, Sailing World, All at Sea and Starlights in addition to online publications such as www.SailingScuttlebutt.com, www.Sail-World.com, www.StarClass.org. She is one of the few sailing journalists whose sailing related articles pop up in places such as Worth, Outside's Go, Cigar Magazine, The Bermudian, Red Star, Red Sail, Scientific American and AARP's magazine, which has a circulation of over 30 million!

Louis Vuitton Pacific Series - The Friendly Games and Classic and Modern Yachts in Saint-Tropez were published in 2009. These photo journals are collaborations with world-class sailing photographers Juerg Kaufman and Daniel Forster and are the lasting legacies of the regattas, appreciated by participants, regatta organizers, sponsors, spectators and sailors everywhere.

A passionate sailor at an early age, Lynn grew up at the Babylon Yacht Club on Long Island's South Shore. She was a sailing instructor and a member of Tufts University's Varsity Sailing Team during the early 1980's when the team was one of the top ranked sailing teams in the country. She was named All American Crew and Best Crew in New England during her senior year.

Lynn continues to sail competitively, both as a skipper and as a crew. Having lived in the Boston, New York, Newport Beach, Miami and San Diego areas, she has participated in countless one-design dinghy and keelboat regattas and seasonal series.
